Composite Veneers Liverpool
Achieve your dream smile in just one appointment with composite veneers from Smileworks Liverpool.
You heard it here first: a smile transformation does not have to cost you an arm and a leg. Composite veneers are the cost-effective, minimally invasive alternative to porcelain veneers. Just like porcelain, composite resin can be used to transform the shape, colour, and appearance of your teeth.
Our expert dentists use advanced techniques to sculpt a stunning, symmetrical smile in just one visit. That’s why some call composite veneers the ‘same-day veneers’. At Smileworks Liverpool, we combine artistry with precision to deliver exceptional results while still preserving your natural teeth.
Our patients typically get composite veneers to close small gaps, fix chips, and achieve a whiter, more uniform smile. Whatever your reason is for pursuing composite veneers, our all-star dental team is here to help you achieve your dream look.

what are composite veneers?
Composite veneers are ultra-thin layers of tooth-coloured resin that are carefully sculpted directly around the surface of your teeth. The new surface hides the old one that might be damaged or yellow. Your result is a beautiful, lifelike transformation and a renewed confidence in your smile.
Composite resin can be placed on as many teeth as you like. Some patients will only get it on two teeth, while others might get it on every visible upper and lower tooth. This is completely up to you, and your dentist will work with you to design your dream smile.
Unlike porcelain veneers, which need to be made in an off-site dental lab, composite veneers are applied to your teeth in a single visit. Not only are they a more cost-effective alternative, they’re also a more time-efficient treatment.
benefits of composite veneers
FAST RESULTS
Achieve a transformed smile in just one appointment. You’ll walk out of your visit with a brand new smile.
Minimally Invasive
No drilling or shaving of your natural teeth required. Your underlying tooth is kept fully intact.
Affordable
Composite resin is 3x less expansive than porcelain, so choosing composite veneers saves you a lot of money.
Natural & Lifelike
No need to worry about an unnatural or fake looking smile. Our dentists will make your smile look lifelike and real.
composite bonding vs veneers
Many use the terms composite bonding and composite veneers interchangeably, but they are actually two different treatments. While both use the same high-quality composite resin, they serve slightly different purposes.
Composite edge bonding fixes minor chips, cracks, and gaps on the edges of your teeth. Bonding lasts 5-7 years, and costs start at £200 per tooth.
On the other hand, composite veneers cover the entire front surface of the tooth. This offers a full smile transformation. Composite veneers last about the same amount of time as composite bonding, but costs instead start at £300 per tooth.
the composite veneer process
At Smilworks Liverpool, we make achieving your dream smile simple, efficient, and pain-free. Here's what you can expect from the process:
1. Consultation & Smile Planning
For your initial consultation, you’ll be matched with a dentist who will conduct a full assessment of your mouth. They’ll make sure everything is healthy and good to go. We cannot move forward with any cosmetic treatment until we confirm you have no untreated cavities or gum disease.
Your dentist will also discuss your smile goals with you and create a plan for how to achieve that. This is your time to tell us exactly what you want done. Then simply leave it to us to make it happen.
2. Veneer Application
Now it’s time to sit back in the chair and let your dentist get to work. You’ll be able to choose what shade you want your new teeth to be, whether it’s the brightest shade of white or a shade that matches your natural tooth colour.
The composite resin is then applied to the front of your teeth and sculpted over the surface like putty. Once the desired shape has been achieved, it’s hardened with a special blue curing light and then polished.
Once they're done, your dentist will show you the result. If there’s anything you want changed, they will sort it out right then and there. We want you to leave our practice 100% happy with your new smile.
3. Composite Veneer Aftercare
Your dentist may recommend wearing a night guard to keep the veneers looking in top condition for as long as possible. Otherwise, you should treat your veneers like they’re your natural teeth. Stay on top of brushing and flossing, and be sure you attend routine check-ups and hygiene appointments. You'll get more detailed aftercare instructions at your appointment.

FAQ
How long do composite veneers last?
Composite veneers last between 5-7 years, sometimes longer if you take extra good care of them. We advise avoiding foods and drinks that stain, keeping up good oral hygiene, and maintaining routine visits to Smileworks. The great thing about composite veneers is they are easily repairable. If your veneers chip or damage, you’re only a single appointment away from fixing it. This process is more complicated for porcelain veneers, as the whole tooth often needs to be replaced.
How do I know if composite veneers are right for me?
If you want to enhance your smile without permanent alterations to your teeth, composite veneers are a great option. However, the best way to know if composite veneers are right for you is to book a consultation with our expert team.
How do I book?
At Smileworks, we make booking easy! Use our online booking system to quickly schedule your consultation. If you prefer to book over the phone, you can give us a call at 0151 236 5166.
How much are composite veneers in Liverpool?
At Smileworks, our prices start at £300 per tooth. We also offer 0% financing options to make your treatment more affordable.
Will my teeth need to be drilled or shaved down?
No. Unlike porcelain veneers, composite veneers require minimal to no tooth preparation. There is no drilling nor shaving down the edges. Your natural enamel will be fully preserved.
Is treatment painful?
Absolutely not. Composite veneers are a pain-free, non-invasive treatment. No anesthesia is required. Some of our patients even fall asleep during their treatment!
